Common questions

How do I delete my account?

On mobile, open Profile and tap “Delete account & data”. On web, email support@shog.io.

My rating dropped unexpectedly.

Ratings use Glicko-2 and adjust based on your opponent's rating and deviation. Unusual drops after a long break are normal as the system re-assesses your skill.

A bot game froze.

Bot moves are computed on our server and very rarely time out. Resign and start a new game — if it happens repeatedly, email us with the approximate time and bot you were playing.
